with dense fogs during the early mornings here recently, i'm wondering if i stay OEM to keep the fogs vs the DRL's of the revozport (again, incase i do go that route).

Sorry to heart that.
There is a user selling his F1 revozport bumper:

might also contact revozport on monday to see what they have (do they paint this as per may color choice when ordered, etc)...

MBWorld Fanatic!
I missed the part that he is in Canada.
To be honest, I wouldn't get a new bumper right away.
What lip do You have in your garage?
If You have a Carlsson style lip or Revozport snow plow lip they will probably cover the whole damage.
You will need to screw and glue the lip to the bumper anyway.
Try that first before ordering the ne bumper

^^ do you have pics? where to order? i'm not going the revozport route because they are overseas (hongkong) and i don't want to deal with the wait and if i'm not satisfied with the quality/fit or if the item is damaged when delivered - i don't want to deal with the headaches for damage claim/return/refund, etc

also, was thinking about retro fitting a 2012 to my car - i talked to the MBUSA certified body shop (where the dealership directed me to have the repair/replace done) but they (shop) immediately suggested NOT to do the retrofit because it will VOID the warranty.. geez!

here are pictures of when DadsC63 tried to add the facelift bumper to his car. there's a pretty noticeable gap that you can't necessarily see from straight on.
There are a few used OEM pre-facelift bumpers on ebay for a couple hundred bucks which might be your best bet. Revozport is still charging $1500+ depending on how many options you get with it and then you have to get it painted as well. Adds up pretty quickly.

^^ thanks.. Dads car had the OEM BS front bumper.. pretty bad ***.. but too much mods to fit that.. i wish i could do that though :-)
might end up with the OEM and let the insurance take the tab.. but trying to see if I can get another shop(s) in town that can retro-fit the 2012 bumper.. the MB certified shop don't want to touch it.. advised for an OEM 09 bumper
