I was just wondering how rare this is on the C63? When I got my C63, I was told it is a rare option but could never verify that or find out how many made into the U.S. for the 2011 model.

Anyone have an idea?

Many on here have it.. myself included. Of the 4 C63's I saw go through the dealership recently 3 had the option. I believe cars ordered into inventory would less likely have this option but cars ordered directly by the buyer would often have it.

it was more rare in the earlier models because it was an LSD, red brakes, and a steering wheel. now it is no LSD, red brakes and 30 hp.

Agreed, more rare in the earlier models. Seems dealers started ordering them 12+ configured with PP based on the customer ordering demand they saw with the 10/11 PP's. I know my dealer in particular only had PP cars in stock when I went in.

Here you get the forged internals, 30hpmore , LSD, red brakes, 1.5 piece rotors, and CF interior.

In Australia you get, Forged internals, 22KW, alcantara insert steering wheel, carbon fibre rear boot lip, 19" m/spoke wheels, and bigger brakes with red calipers.
L.S.D. is still an extra cost option.
I was talking to the AMG "Expert" at our Dealership the other day...he said that yes, P31 was increasingly popular with around 50% of cars now ordered with it, but hardly anyone, maybe 5-10% optioned the L.S.D.
