18's vs 19's

I plan to get a C63 later this year and I'm wondering how much difference there is in ride/comfort between 18” and 19” wheels? I live in Melbourne, Australia and there are the usual city bumps as well tram tracks. Has anyone made the transition and regretted it?

my wife bananas! :D
you will feel the ride will be a bit stiffer but imo its really not a big difference. I'm in Toronto and our roads would be similar to what you have.

235/40/18 vs 235/35/19
255/35/18 vs 255/30/19

Unless you've got hidden senses, it's quite tricky to tell. Not impossible but quite tricky.

Good luck with the car

19s are a heavier but look much better. They will add Unsprung mass and will feel a bit sluggish in acceleration. I fealt it when I went about 4lbs heavier on my tires. But you will never know the difference unless you test the two immediately back to back....it is minor.

I went from 18 to 20 and although you can feel the difference it is still comfortable enough to live with easily. Based on that I would say 19's would be no issue at all
Live in Melb also
