No Fly Zone Airstrip Event - C63 P31 vs C63 Tune+Exhaust
Had a great time at the No Fly Zone Airstrip Event this past weekend, and much thanks to Tony for putting on a great event.
Here's my new 2013 C63 P31 Sedan (bone stock) vs a 2009 C63 Sedan (tune+filters+cat/resonator delete)
I was quite impressed with my car's performance given it was bone stock with barely 1000 miles on the odometer.
Next event is the Shift Sector Airstrip Attack 4/6-4/7, and by then I hope to have longtubes and a tune.
Enjoy!

Nicely done sir, like it was asked above what was the tune on mars red? (if you have this info).
You spanked him relatively good.

Nice runs, M5 vid too! Also, I'm curious - do you run the car hard on the way to an event like this to get the car "ready?" Over the years I always recall people referring to the ecu adapting and the impact to power output, etc...wonder if that's true in reality but since I drive like a grandma 99.98% of the time Im not a good test subject.

How does this happen? I mean I understand its a p31 but the 09 should win this race no? Am I the only one who thinks that? No offense to the OP(your car is obviously a beast, beating this 09 c63 and that M5) but a tune+filters+cat/resonator delete should be putting down more power the a stock p31? right?

I am with you there. Something somehow is not adding up. He is beating cars that he shouldn't.
He must have been lucky and clicked on the "SLS engine" option for his car

Xtyper as i said in your other thread a big part of it must be the MCT transmission i mean otherwise it doesnt make sense same weight, engine, tires, etc with him having more power upgrades the only significant difference is your MCT vs his 7G tronic trans

Nice run! I've ran my car (P31, ROW air box, res and 2nd cat delete) vs a friend's (chipped, exhaust, filters cat and res delete)C63 and I always pull away from him.
P31s are strong as hell... and the MCT definitely helps.
