Buying a C63 need help
Hello guys,
Need some help deciding. I will be in the market for a used C63 this summer and although I have done a fair amount of research I am getting confused as to the conflicting information that I have found. I will be looking for a C63 equipped with the LSD. I currently drive a C55 and have a real hard time from keeping the tires on the ground. I can just imagine what an extra 100 horses would do. So the LSD is a must. Here is where I am confused. I understand that the LSD comes with the P31 package. However, does this package also comes with much stiffer suspensions? Definitely not interested in that. Additionally, I read that the standard factory LSD is only at 30% while an aftermarket unit is 100%. Is this correct? Also, I read that the 08-09 and some 10 models years have an issue with the head bolts. So, and to wrap this up, if you were in my place what would you do? P31 or not? Get an aftermarket LSD? I can purchase a C63 this summer for the above model years or a later 2010 or 2011 in which case will need to wait until 2014? If I wait for a later year because of the head bolts problem, from what serial number should I be looking for? My driving style is on the aggressive side but this next car will not be my daily drive. I appreciate all your assistance.

LSD is included in P30. Not P31. P30 includes the stiffer suspension as well. I do not believe P31 has any suspension changes because too many complained about the stiffer springs on the P30 package.
