WTB - OE C63 SPOILER
what is the easiest means to get one of these things? i was going to get mine wrapped (2009) but i'd rather get a second one and wrap it and keep my original one as is.
i have a palladium silver car but honestly i don't think the color matters since i'm going to get it wrapped in 1080 film anyway.
i looked on ebay and around here and didn't see anything that wasn't aftermarket. i am looking for OE quality and flat OE shape - i don't like the look of a lot of the performance aftermarket versions.
any suggestions?
EDIT: i found this http://www.formymercedes.com/morepic...4-TLS-F-12.jpg but it's a replica and $299. i can imagine there are better deals to be had with take-offs.

Nothing beats the fitment of OE
For my aftermarket replica Renntech spoiler I had to go through 3 to finally get one that fit right.
I have an OE P31 Carbon rear spoiler for sale if you're interested.

obviously , you would be buying a used spoiler so the brand new price is not valid but this gives you an idea of what they cost .
i have mine off my '09 (white) if you are interested . throw out a price for me

thanks guys.
so i used advanced search for "spoiler" in post titles within the classifieds.
going back to last summer in those results, upon first glance i saw four listings for used genuine OE rear decklid spoilers, not "OE type". two were CLK AMG, one was something i forget and the last was some guy with a C300 selling an "authentic" AMG spoiler from a C63...aka a C350 spoiler lol.
the first two sold at 100, the other at 130 and the last did not sell at 150 plus shipping.
i'll throw out an offer of $100 plus shipping/insurance as that sounds reasonable to me.

Are you looking for a non CF or CF spoiler?
Because a CF = carbon Fiber OEM spoiler is more expensive.
The price from parts.com are for non CF spoiler if i'm not wrong.

so i'm just going to wrap whatever i end up getting in 1080 film. the new stuff is really robust and accomplishes the effect i'm after.

Its a carbon wrapped spoiler that looks like the OEM one. Fitment is good, quality is good and the price is great. For me it was great because of the price. Didn't make sense for me to spend more for something that is just looks when this piece looked great anyway. Should cost you less than the OEM spoiler + wrap and it looks like the real thing, definitely way more than a wrap would.

If you are going for a stock look but want the CF and I don't see it as that expensive I would look at what Gary @ Suvneer is selling.

I agree. Nothing is like OEM. but for the price, I think Gary's was fine. Have to look at as a you pay what you get for, but I think for what you pay with him you are getting your money's worth.
