What are these buttons?

There are 2 buttons next to the headlight switch.

What are they??

Well looking at the wheel i would say between MY 2011-2012 meaning latest 2011. Since the 2012+ MY do not have fog light in front but LED DRL.

That's right. My 09 GL has the same switch as your 09 AMG. pull out to activate. Same with my 07 E550.
