Hi im asian and my exhaust tips are short wtf.
LoL but anyway...
2011 c63
I notice my exhaust tips extends just slightly 1 cm out from the diffuser, when i look down its pretty much close to flush..
the "amg" logo is tucked in under the diffuser and other ones u can see the entire logo..
I've looked at the 2012 models/ older models - the exhaust tips extends at least an inch or more outwards..

i'm 5"5 i guess the dealer paired me with the perfect (exhaust) car
In some videos i see the exhaust extends 1-2 inches as its being driven and heats up.
just wondering why some car's tips are extended 2 inch outwards n some are tucked in ?

Did you special ordered it?
Maybe something hit it and pushed one of the tips in.

Take a pic of it in the morning.
Then drive it really hard a take a pic again.
You will notice it extends when pushed hard enough (the exhaust)

Well, like Matt said, the tip of the exhaust will extend further out when the engine/exhaust is hot.

...I suppose you are going to tell us the Italian ones tend to be a little larger diameter and the African American ones extend out several inches beyond the diffuser and sometimes they even scrape the ground

They get longer when they are hot,(that's what she said

Could be that as the exhaust system heats up and cools down it expands and contracts. This will make the exhaust tips protrude further from the rear bumper and then move back on the hangers as it contracts.
