Acceleration stuck at 140mph???
Finally got the chance to open this thing up. Speed climbs pretty quickly until around 130-140mph where the car just falls on its face. Is this tune related or are these cars really that slow up top?

Our cars are speed limited from the factory.
Unless you're chipped or have the Performance Package (P30 and P31) option.

Limitted to 155. I have the 174mpg upgrade. Yet, I'm still getting hung up at 140. That's why I'm confused. Expected the car to keep pulling hard to 160+.

OP, did you get it used. Maybe it has a bad tune or gears? My '12 P31 coupe pulls strong past 140mph (did that once, also in "C").
Try driving it hard for awhile in S and give it another shot (at the track).

if you are staring at the dial on the speedo when it hits 140 the needle slows a good bit because the increments change, up to 120 each has mark is 5 MPH increments after 120 each hash mark is 10mph. This will give you the illusion that the car has stopped accelerating rapidly, however the car should still be pulling strong.
Dont know if this is what you experienced or not. I noticed it when my car was on the dyno.

I went To Palm Beach Raceway today and I was banging 140 to 150 mph on the back straight all day, and I was only getting 4.5 mpg.
