I'm returning my 2011 C63 to stock and I've got a GruppeM knockoff carbon intake I need to trade out for a stock one. If anyone is in the Seattle Area and wants a dirt cheap upgrade, let me know. I need your stock one in return though! Thinking $350 plus parts? Here's the pics!

It's been on since day 1 and with 30k miles it just started cracking a bit on the underside from heat or vibration I'm assuming. I can send high res pics if someone really wants it out of state, but obviously this leaves one of us with no intake while it ships and I'd hate for someone to get it and be disappointed. It's purely a hidden cosmetic blemish, but I didn't want anyone to think I was hiding anything so I posted a pic of it.

Can I buy straight up? I don't have c63 but I have a 63 Merc so I would simply fab to fit.

Morning folks, my first post since signing up. I'll add my stats a little later but I'm certainly no stranger to the awesomeness of the Beastly Benz's (AMGs or otherwise). Anyway. Anyway, I got the guy down to $650 + 99 shipping to my door? Seems to good to be true!? He has good feedback but its the product I'm concerned about. I realize its a copy but from the previous thread it seems like a relatively good one? May I ask if you found it gave you any gains other than aesthetics? I got an ECU tune on my 2013 C63 coupe and it makes 533 now! I like the air intake -to buy or not to buy? I appreciate all feedback and sorry for the lengthy thread!

I don't have any technical data to back any gain, but it seemed purely cosmetic to me. I'm back to stock now and don't notice any difference.

I would say the biggest benefit is the smoother airflow, as for gains,that's highly unlikely. As Surfswitch stated, it's solely for looks IMO.

Thanks for the comparative surfswitch. I'm still on the fence. Even thought the eBay seller lowered it by almost half $750usd ++ is a lot for some kit that I will only ever see lol. I took apart the airboxes today. They both have the charcoal filters, it seems I have US spec airboxes as there was a USA sticker on it. Damn you California emissions!! Just cleaned it all out and put back together. Probably put in a K&N or some sort of equivalent and do the charcoal delete after the first service. Might cave and get the pretty carbon fiber intake too
