AllFlow Secondary Cat

Anybody replace their secondary cat with something ilke this? I want to do the secondary cat and resonator delete with H pipe but I don't want to worry about a pesky visual test during smog:

Would this fit and is it the 2.5" one that we would use?

So has anyone here done something like this or does everyone just do the cat delete and pray they pass smog?

Secondary cat removal should not trigger sniffer or readiness AFAIK.

Yes but unfortunately in CA we have a visual inspection that is failed if any part of the factory intake/exhaust system has been modified with non CARB approved parts, of which there are none for the C63 as far as I know.

As long as you have primary cats you will be fine. Do you honestly think that the people performing the SMOG checks know the exact configuration of every vehicle on the road ?

That is the problem in Cali and it's getting worse. State is doing sting operations trying to catch smog stations that don't do the visual inspection.

No, but all it takes is one who knows and I'm stuck getting exhaust work done again. That cheap straight pipe that looks like a secondary cat for $40 just seems like there is no down side. I just want to know about fitment and if it will work. It is aluminized steel, is that a problem? Also, would I use the 2.5" tube?
