Sorry, but I would rather not have such a thing on my car.

You are the dark knight. You don't need sprakly stars to fight crime.

They have not released it yet. I believe they said it would be available for S, ML, E and CLS if I remember correctly. They did not mention the C class.
Does an E grill fit on a C?

Remember how having cars with light-up undercarriages and other glow-in-the-dark parts was all the rage back in the ’90s? Thankfully, that fad has passed (though you still see the occasional schmuck who hasn’t gotten the memo floating down the highway late at night like a UFO). But now Mercedes-Benz is toying around with the idea of bringing something similar back—in a much classier way, of course.

Mercedes-Benz has begun offering the M-Class and GL-Class SUVs with a three-pointed star tastefully illuminated with white LEDs. The light-up grille emblem only kicks on when the car is stopped, popping into action when the engine turns off, when the car is unlocked or when a door is opened. (It turns back off in about 15 seconds, though.)

Mercedes will start offering it on the CLS-Class, E-Class and C-Class models next month, in addition to the SUVs. Expect to pay around $300 for it, which doesn’t seem like a bad price for something that adds a bit of taste to your Benz’s startup.

what a waste if it only comes on when the car is off, but I'm sure someone could hack it, the E class sport has the center star
