Velos Designwerks tune
Earlier today Wednesday the 24th I finalized payment for the Velos Designwerks tune through the intro pricing. The combination of excellent knowledge with our cars and great customer service I finalized my order which they very happily ensured I would receive by Friday due to a Dyno day. At this nova Dyno day I will do 2 sets of three pulls, one with just my exhaust mod (sec cat delete and res delete + xpipe install) And one after their custom tailored tune. Even though I have not yet aquired the Dyno data their customer service alone makes me feel confident in their results which I shall post before and after on a non p31!

Djmouz63, are you going to that Dyno day that was posted in the Mid-Atlantic section in VA? I was going to go to that too, but I still haven't gotten my smaller S/C pulley installed yet.

So on friday morning i open my email to see that i have received a much anticipated PM from Kenny at Velos which read....
"I'm sending you your tracking information for your personal programmer on the tittle. Unfortunately i was informed very late in the evening that the fedex pick up that was scheduled for the out going packages for today never showed. As soon as i heard i headed back to the shop picked up the package and dropped it off my self at a 24 hour fedex drop off location. I'm also sending you a picture of the drop off receipt. I just now got back home (12:38 AM) and wanted to give you an update on what happened.

Although i had had big plans for doing a before and after dyno same day same dyno, i am not the least bit upset because its not everyday that you get the kind of customer service that runs to a shop after midnight to pick up a part and ships it after midnight! So all i have to say is a big +1 to the boys at Velos to being such a fantastic company to deal with.
Ohh and I will be putting the car on a dyno this week sometime at which point I will post the data before and after!! Thanks again Kenny and the Velos team i cant wait for your tune!

So today I recieved the tune! I was very happy to see it was all packaged nicely and i got a little freebee (liscence plate frame) lol still cool. I installed the software then dowloaded the ecu file from my car and then transfered it back to my comp at which point i emailed it to Velos. Within 30 mins i had the email containing the tune file which i then loaded without an issue to the handheld.
Tomorrow at 11 i will be at ISP Racing in college park doing a before and after dyno, the results of which i shall post here, photo and video! Thanks again Velos!
