Can you bypass the DVD "while moving" function

I have a 08 AMG and was wondering if there a way to bypass the "can't operate while car is in motion" feature so I can play DVD's or videos while driving?

Look up "video in motion" on YT or Google. Mid City Engineering has a product that takes about 10 minutes to install if you know what you're doing.

Mid City is the best one out there. Disables/Enable by pressing volume up and down at the same time on the steering wheel. Allows DVD in motion, as well as Nav entry. It disables the nav signal, but Nav still works well using speed, steering and G sensors. I have it in all my MBs.

Can you give details about what means to disable nav signal...?

Thanks for the help, do you know how much they charge? I didn't see any pricing on their website.

Did you get the one with the backup camera? If so how is it, what's the quality?

You need Nav-TV. I have one for sale for a C63 that I would be willing to let go for relatively cheap if interested.

My cars all have backup cameras, so I've only installed the VIM module.
