Current values?
Ready to pull the trigger on a C63 and considering new vs barely used 2012 four door.
Could someone out there provide the current auction values for 2012 four door C63s?
I have the dealer at $9k off an almost $68k car, so at just over $58k which I think is a good price. I know the 2014s are around the corner.
The other consideration is a very low mileage 2012, but prices look way high (some cases more than the new one) as folks paid a lot for them. And to be fair some have way more options than the 2013 car I am considering buying.
The car the dealer has is 2 tone interior (which I prefer to leather), multimedia, keyless go and lane tracking and one other option I can't remember. No lighting pkg, which I wouldnt mind having. However almost all the ones with it are 72-76k cars or not the colors I'm looking for. My E350 has xenons and I drove the C63 at night without them, not a huge deal.
Anything else to consider?

ford svt's, and C63!!!
Go with your gut, "what's it worth to you"?? I just pulled the trigger on my 2012 C63 sedan with under 5K miles, and paid 56,500 for it with hardly any options, but I have no regrets whether I got a good deal or not, it is/was worth it to me. "Can I afford it", and "is it worth it to me" are what I live by on these things. And yes you'll see a better deal within a week of the purchase, lol!

New
My gut is the new car because at $58k it's a good price and the color I want, plus full warranty. However I'm also trying to gauge what the car will be worth in 2 years when the lease is up.
My guess is it will be in the $41k-$42k range. MbFS says $45k, seems high.

I personally would never own a car without HID's. if you're leasing, don't sweat it, but be careful about buying a non lighting pkg equipped car, may be very tough to sell down the line.
I traded my 2009 in February 2012 with 38k, sticker was 71k, for right around 40k. Should help you get an idea of value 2/3 yrs down the line.

2009 C63
If you plan to resell it, leather and lighting package is very good option to have. When people buy these cars, they usually want it loaded as possible. But for lease and you don't really care for them, it won't really matter.

2011 C63 Calcite White
58k is dirt cheap for a C63 lol, they go for well over 100k USD in Europe and Asia and other international countries. We are fortunate to have such low prices in NA.
I'd say wait for the 2014 though.. the new one might not be a 6.2L V8 no more, but the turbos have huge mod potentials and much more gas efficient. Also, have a new looking car for the next 5-6 years lol; once the new models come out the current facelift going to look outdated fast.
