I always wondered why vendors won't just post up a price for everyone to see? Why this "PM me in secret to find out" philosophy? Shipping to anywhere in the US should be standard, so why not just post up a standard price + standard shipping in the first post?

Per Forum rules you aren't allowed to post pricing. If all vendors put up a price to see then all vendors would be under cutting each other, and then that way vendors would not make money on the product.

Eh, how about the vendors differentiating their product based on quality, style, service and all the other things every vendor in the world uses to differentiate their products. What's the alternative? All the deals done under the table in secrecy? As its done now, it seems.
