Thanks guys..Fog lights are going to be a pain. probably going to have to take them out to paint them. I ordered new center caps and im going to vinyl wrap my door handle tops.

Looks great! Did you use matte for shine? (I see you said you used matte but if I understand properly you can get matte, semi matte and gloss?) I am doing mine Tuesday and can't decide on matte or shin, though my car is Steele Gray. Will it peel easily off your window moldings or is it strong enough to stay on without too much wear? I was going to wrap mine in vinyl but if it will hold up I may do that instead, certainly easier to do.
Looks nice though, murdered out is a good look. I just wish I could deal with having a black car. My first C63 was black and I kept it for a very short time because I just can't deal with black.

I did my fogs last night, drove around today for a couple hours in the heat and it's still looking good so I don't see why it won't last..
I've done all the chrome except for the window trims, just not sure if I want to tape it all off and spray it or not.
Car looks great BTW, do the tips and it'll be complete.

You probably need to remove your front bumper in order to plastidip your foglights properly. I did mine this way and it holds good.

Those chrome rings around the for lights actually pop off very easily. I dipped mine on my old C300 and also thru some yellow film over the fog lens and it looked really good on a black car.

The chrome fog light rings are not the same on yours as on a c63... I tried pulling mine off but they don't seem to pop off. Some one know how to remove them ?

The fog light bezel is not difficult to remove. I took mine off and plastidipped them and then sprayed a semi clearcoat over for longevity and protection.
All you have to do is reach in from behind the wheel well, you can get to the back of the fog light by lifting up the plastic behind the bumper. To remove the bezel there are three tabs that you have to push out, once you get two of the three free you can pretty much wiggle it free. Just be careful as the tabs are easy to brake. If you have the ability to take off your front wheels it would make it much easier, but I was able to get to it without removing the wheel,
Take a flashlight and look for the tabs you will see and feel them, it is just like changing the bulbs but instead you release the tabs. 5-10min per side max.

They come off easy, I did it Friday night, I just grabbed them and squeezed and pulled at the same time, came right out.
the "hook tabs" are located approximately at the 10, 2 and 6 o'clock positions.
I found the most useful "DIY" threads in the W204 C class threads (Non AMG) section.
The DIY's here absolutely suck IMO when compared to other forums.
I've read over a lot of them but ended up just using them as a "guideline" rather than following step by step instructions. The hardest part of doing any of these jobs is the "not knowing" part.

For about 5 months now. Has seen rain, extreme heat, and car washes (well hand washes by me) and it has held up great. Still looks as good as day one.
