2013 or wait for 2014?

I'm thinking about buying a 2013 C63. Is there any reason to wait for the 2014? I can't find much info on changes for 2014.

The only changes I'm aware of for the 2014 is the addition of the 507 edition package. If you aren't interested in that option, I'd get the 2013.

Thanks for the info. Did they announce what the 507 was going to cost?

Not yet but the word on the street is it'll be the same or cheaper than a P31(Dev Pack) car. I think it'll be a good deal!

Wow really? How long until they hit showrooms though?

While I hope you're right, I believe it will be closer to a $10,000 premium (versus $6,000 for the P31). As part of the 507 you will receive a voucher for a day at the AMG school (approximately $1,000 value).

I believe you get that with any AMG purchase. At least it offered to me when I got my 2012.

You get that with any AMG purchase or lease, and the value of this perk is $1595. You can get into the AMG Academic basic course (one day) for free, or you can apply the $1595 towards the two higher level courses they offer (two and three days). You need to have completed the basic course or present proof of equivalent certification in order to be able to sign up for the advanced courses though.

update: Looks like the AMG Academy course prices have gone up! $1795 for the basic course, and $4k for the pro!

Here is more info on the AMG purchase reward program: http://www.amgacademy.com/program/of...reward-program

Thanks for correcting me on the AMG course. Nice to know whichever direction I go, I will get instruction on how to be a better driver.
