Hey Guys,

I have a set of CF covers that I no longer need. I had them on my CLS but changed them out for a complete CF housing set-up. These covers are held on with double sided tape and really do look pretty good for what they are. I'm told the C63 mirrors are the same as the CLS63, so they should fit fine.

I will ship these free (within the US) to a productive member and would only ask that they not be resold.

Are you sure we have the same mirrors? Your mirror looks different than ours.. at least the arms.

whoever gets em, I strongly suggest an alternative to the double sided tape...it creates a pretty ugly gap and throws off the fitment of the cover (so the lines don't match up right). I used epoxy cement type stuff on mine...obviously the covers will now never come off, but at least they fit properly. there are probably even better/non-permanent alts vs the thick 3m tape.

that being said, there really is no alternative to the OEM full housings (esp the 2x2 weave)

There is a special thin extra strong two sided tape which is used by paint and body shops to put the emblems back on after painting.
I bought it last week for $15 at a paint/lacquer shop. You can try that.

I would use silicone glue. it holds well and you can still heat with a hairdryer and peel it off with some floss and elbow grease if you want to.

I'll jump in and donate mine as well Rock, I bought them from Suvneer not long ago so they are brand new even though I have mounted them.

EDIT: I should clarify that mine are for the old style mirrors!!

I just bought the Dads full carbon mirrors and no longer have a use for these.

Someone let me know and I'll get them shipped out.
