CEL
Got cel light from KnN filters. How bad is it to just ignore the light? Are there any performance down draws from CEL of that nature ? Car runs great overall.

Check your airboxes are properly sealed/fitted following the installation of the K&N? Usually the CEL pops up because of this.
Some other members say it's because of the oil in the K&N . I have AFE pro dry and no problem at all.

did you get your CEL read thru a scanner?
I had a CEL last week and it was P0171. Did a lot of research here and some members here had charcoal filters removed, K&N filter etc.
For me, my car is stock and I believed mine was due to a bad tank of gas as it happened just a few minutes after I bought gas for my car.
I deleted the code and ran the gas down to empty or at least the light to come on and refilled at another station. Its been close to a week and CEL is not on.

i have the weistec's and ROW airboxes. never got a CEL. remember, there is the hose clamp and the screws that you need to tighten back up after swappning filters.
