Any clutch issues in the newer C63's??

I own a 2012 C63 with the clutch system instead of a torque converter sitting in front of the automatic trans. Just curious how tough / robust this stuff is, I'm a little skeptical on it's durability with launches at the drag strip and continual full throttle up-shifts, especially when I've experienced the durability of a good torque converter when trans temps are kept within reason at the drag strip. I eventually want to be tuned with headers, just to let you in on my power goals with this car. Thanks.

If it ever goes Ka-put, is it fairly straight-forward to go to a traditional torque converter, or swap an older C63's trans into her without a ton of drama?

Also, the thought of a higher stall tq. converter is also very attractive in this car.

Good luck converting to a tq converter or 7g. Programming nightmare.

Weistec has said the MCT is beefier than the 7G.

Jcart is running a stage 3 on a stock MCT. I'm sure it will be fine. You can always have it built.

Yupp stock MCT is much stronger than the 7G with torque convertor. MCT can handle 670+whp from the weistic stage 3 with serious torque numbers I'm sure you'll be fine with headers, tune, etc.

Ive put on 10K hard miles on my MCT and its running good except for the times it heats up and starts acting up but I'm installing the trans cooler from the black series to help me out. Something you should look into if your really going to beat the ***** out of the car
