MHP LT Headers + Exhust original fabrication

I need yall's help. I seriously love how the MHP headers are constructed and they have proven to preform very well at the dragstrip. I have been wanting to get these for a while. The only problem is that the MHP camp is too shady. I really do not want to fall as another victim. I have been reading around the forum that MHP don't make these systems themselves. That is good news for me. Only question now is who?

I read around that they are between ARH and stainless works? Anybody know exactley which or who?

If I can get it straight through them, that would be wonderful.

If you want Mhp headers you should call and speak to Andy and form your own opinion.. If not choose a different company.. I have nothing but great experience with Mhp service and performance of the products

I never heard anything but positive reviews of MBH headers. But if you want MHP headers then just get them

As a side note, I just bought a set of stainless headers for my '71 pro-touring camaro. Pretty much the exact same design is as the C63...but the only slight difference was that they were $400

Go With MBH man. They are the best for the M156. All the Track Data that you see from MHP were performed in FAST tracks. same tracks used by manufacturers to market thier cars well.

Many people (Even in this forum) have switched from MHP to MBH and gained more power

Not really .

I drove 2 same modeded c63 besides Headers.
One had MHP one MBH and the MHP was quicker and faster and better 60 foot bc it made more power down low and power that I felt when I drove it.

From mid range to top end the MBH are great but from a Dig win goes MHP thats why they have the better times for headers not bc they run fast tracks.

Now for FI 63's MBH rock ! But for NA they are to Big.

Search PetroC63. He went from MBH to MHP His still on here to.

Were you driving yours and Petro's ?....cause those are two diffrent mods

I also drove two besides eachother, but from a roll, and the MBH out 5 times Pulled ahead

I knew this was going to come up and I already commented on it in the past.

Petro had the MHP tune + MBH (Not a matched tune). He was tapping 11.4

When he switched for MHP, He recieved an updated tune from Weistec. So now he had an MHP Updated and matched tune, but only improved to 11.29

I wonder how he would have performed if he had his original tune matched with his MBH headers, not to mention if he would have had the updated matched tune from Weistec

Then my statement was CORRECT!

You had the MBH Headers with an unmatched tune!

And if Hagi was going up against your car, then this was also a disadvantage since he had the race Exhust and race tune!

My SLS is holding up quite well. Just got pulled over going over 330 km/hr. Cop couldnt record the reading on his detector..looool. We convince him it was only 190 km/hr

I know your not putting MBH down bro, Like I said, when you drove Petro's car it was when it didnt have a matched tune for his Headers.

You are aware that Hagi had two ECU's? One with a 93 octane and one with a race file. My memory is hazy but at that time I believe Hagi did not have a full race exhaust. He would have to confirm. Also, my car was lighter than his.

I don't want to get into a header debate both headers are fantastic but it's not as clear cut as you make it out to be.

What?

Ae you saying evey 4-1 LT headers fit the C63?

Each platform has diffent angles and bends bro...Even the the M156 platforms. For Example, a C63 coupe headers is diffren than the sedan C63. Moreove, an SL63 has completely diffrent bends. A camaro has diffrent spacing in the ports with the exhust heads than the C63. You would never be able to fit a Camaro LT header to a C63 header. If you can, please show. I want to know how you did it

I actually did not say that at all. Where did i write that a Camaro header would fit on a C63??? I said the design is the same bro. Bent pipes ending up into one collector.

It doesn't matter that the flanges are different, the tubes are either mandrel bent or welded and tuned to the vehicle.

My 2cents as im not going to get into this "who is better" game because i think many of these companies are great.

I just purchased MHP headers complete setup. A+ perfect. They fit perfect, everything was good. I did however purchase mine from a fellow member on this form so i did NOT buy these directly from MHP. Even though i purchased from somewhere else, Jim (Director of sales for MHP) immediately sent me over full installation instructions. I pulled the trigger right after i had my car tuned with the MHP tune (which I'm VERY happy with). They Had my ECU for 1 day and got it back the next day. Every email was responded to within hours including when they go the ECU and when they shipped it. I was also given a stack of MHP decals, my invoices, and some very cool business cards. They are pieces of metal which has there MHP logo lasered in with all there info; pretty cool.

I just picked my car up a few months back, and though there is a lot of hate on the form i decided to give them a whirl with there proven performance and contacting some members who have used them with success. So far so happy though I'm done with performance on this car i think. Everything from this point on needs pretty serious modifications.
