2009 Navigation Head Unit - No rear camera or aux input?
I did search the forums and found nothing regarding rear camera.
I have some question regarding the factory navigation head unit. Mine is apparently 2009 standard issue. No rear camera, also car has no rear sensors, no aux input, Bluetooth does not interface with music, only phone (= no Pandora!)
Is there a factory head unit that is newer and will fit (plug & play) with better options?

I don't think so. 09 sedan came from factory without these features.
It is still possible to retrofit the back up camera as a DIY tho. But you will need wiring harnesses, control module and the camera of course.

Do you have the multimedia package (COMAND)? That is, does the large screen come up out of the dash, or is there a smaller one that is there full time?

You can run a rear camera with a camera and fakra cable connected to the back of the unit. There are plenty of DIYs on this forum. Just have to do then then open up rear camera in r through service menu.
