Carbon Ceramic Brake Conversion On My Black Series
I thought I would share a couple photos of my carbon ceramic brake conversion recently completed by the guys at Weistec on my C BS. These are the OEM carbon ceramic calipers and rotors offered as an option on the newer E63's. The calipers come in a metallic burnt orange finish but I had them refinished in Brembo red. I also upgraded to all steel lines. These rotors ae huge and about a quarter of the weight of the stock rotors. I ran the car in a half mile event last weekend and can tell you guys the brakes work great. Hoping to test them out on a road course in the next couple weeks.

They look amazing, another great addition to your beast.
Will love to see some performance number, 30 to 0 , 60 to 0, 100 to 0.
Not difficult to do if you have a Vbox.
What Break fluid are you using?
Thank you
JV

They can fit a standard C63 but it takes some mods. There is a thread explaining the conversion if you search for it.
They are a MUST for track purposes!
Great job Jim! They should bolt on to the black series correct?
Enjoy and be safe!!

Thank Keith, not a direct bolt up on my BS, Weistec had to machine some spacers and a couple other little bits but other than that they were a pretty simple swap.

Thanks, Fronts are 402mm/15.82" and rears are 360mm/14.17". I do not have an exact weight but by feel I would guess they are 1/3 to1/4 of the weight of the stock rotors, crazy light, so light it makes you wonder how the hell they would stand up to more than one triple digit panic stop without just disintegrating.
