Stock 2011 P31 Spring Height
Front Left and Front Right are ~14 1/8 inches from exactly center of wheel cap to middle of wheel arch
Rear Left and Rear Right are ~13 5/8 inches from exactly center of whel cap to middle of wheel arch
I wanted to know if anyone else with pre facelift non P31 had same setup. My vin states I have P30 when I know they stopped making P30 late 2010.

Yes I have the same p030 on my data card. I believe that p030, performance package is part of p31, but in my2011 its definition is different than my 2010 and does NOT include suspension changes. I have a 2011 with the development package p31.

No. I just remember reading anything that was available at the time to educate myself about the car.
The p030 "performance package" that came in my 2009,10 had two piece front rotors and retuned suspension. Despite perceived better handling, it seemed to lack popularity and the owners at the time showed concerns about the ride quality. My 2011 is not noted in the literature as having any suspension options.
P030 also included LSD in per 2011 models. In 2011, LSD was a stand alone option only.

IIRC my P30 (front, on newish OE rubber) measured 25.8" from the floor to the top of the wheel arch.

I installed my springs this week end and here is what i have measured (approximately):
OEM front: 13"
H&R front: 12.25"
OEM rear: 12"
H&R rear: 11.25"
My sedan is MY 09 non P30. I hope this will help.

This is why I love this forum. Knowledge abound in these pages. "I'm Commander Sheperd and this is my favorite forum on the internet."
P.S. Getting drop done tomorrow. Can't wait.

Are you measuring the height of the springs? Sorry if this is a stupid questions but these are just too low even for p30.

That is what it looks like he is doing to me. Look at the pics in his post and he is comparing the length of the stock springs with the H&R springs and his measurements are too short for stock ride height from the center of the wheel to the center of the fender lip.

Yes i did measure the springs height out of the shock absorber.
Does it look wrong for you?
I actually don't know what the factory spring height is supposed to be.

Spring length will likely not indicate height properly, since the preload might change when they are installed. Best way to measure is from the axle plane (what OP did) or from the ground (with consistent wheel/tire height).

I'll get my alignment in about a week or two (roughly 250 mls) to let the springs settle a bit. I'm guessing you can do it in about 100 mls.

If you're changing the ride height, you should have the alignment done at the time you install the new springs as the camber will definitely change, and then re-checked once they have settled (I'd probably give them a month to fully settle - more like 500 to 1000 miles depending on how much you drive). If you're not changing the ride height (i.e. the suspension geometry stays the same), you don't need to do an alignment right away but should again have it checked once they settle.
