i recently has CEL P0171 3 times,

they replaced purge valve and drove around 30 miles and got same CEL again

they look further then replaced intake manifold and 100% confident it fixed this time

on the paper order:

i saw:

2 156-141-04-80 Metal Seal
10 004-990-53-12 SCREW

now my question is, is this new screw that fix the old stud bolts what we all are afraid of ?






i just want to get this done and over it.

No. This is a different issue. FYI, the new headbolt part number is A 156 016 0769.

Both the intake manifold bolts AND head bolts are new design. But they're two completely different issues.

You guys are getting paranoid with the headbolts. Think about how many m156s they built. There is only a small percentage that failed.

There also something else wrong with your engine....it's only got 6.0Liters, you should ask where the rest of it it
