Intake Gasket DYI - help
I am looking for a DYI on the Intake Gasket for the the M156 engine. I have allData DYI, but I'm stuck as I do not have the special tool to release the pressure in the fuel lines. Any help here?

Shouldn't be much pressure if you let it sit for a day or two. I took my fuel line off, fuel pissed out, but no pressure.
Bolts are TTY on the intake, you will need new ones.

On other cars with fuel injection I have carefully broken loose a line fitting and held rags around the joint. This is potentially dangerous with any spark source (drop light etc) as the line pressure is 45-80 psi. Other procedure I remember : pull fuel pump fuse and run car (if it will) until it stalls. A reminder: 80 psi is about like your city water hose connection. No barbecue allowed!
