Install: C63 AMG BLACK SERIES MBH/WEISTEC HEADER/TUNE COMBO
Just got back from picking up my car from Bruce@TTMotorsports, I have nothing but great things to say about him and his shop. Top notch work with an extremely quick turnaround.
I had MBH Headers, resonated mid-pipes, catless x-pipe, weistec tune, K&N airfilters, and a TTM Airbox mod installed. The car sounds perfect - it is very tamable at idle and civil while driving around town. Once stepped on it screams like a bat out of hell. Only concern is the weistec tune, we took the car for a couple of blasts and it felt as if it was cutting timing/breaking up throughout gears and on shifts. On downshifts the car no longer rev-matched, and it sounded as if it was sputtering on downshifts and stuttering up at the rev limiter on upshifts (very hard to explain, maybe Bruce can chime in). During pulls the car wasn't as strong as expected, and I was overall disappointed with the tune at first. I figured I'd give it a day or two to adapt, and contrary to my expectations it seems to be sorting itself out - the car feels slightly smoother on shifts and stronger (but still nowhere near optimal). I am going to give it until Monday and then make a decision from there on the tune because of now I still am extremely disappointed in it:
Here is a quick video of the setup, watch in HD, enjoy:

That's a very good question. The shop could have kept the money and attempted to tune the ECU themselves.
OP, have you contacted Weistec with your VIN to verify they did in fact tune your ECU?

I provided my credit card information directly to Weistec and spoke to them numerous times about my specific modifications so that they could tune accordingly. I had the tracking numbers when we shipped it out and when Weistec shipped it back, and also have a receipt from Weistec. The ECU was shipped back to me directly and I gave it to Bruce the day that I picked up my car. So, to answer your question, Bruce did not keep the money himself and tune it. The car does seem to progressively be getting better. It is more crisp on the downshifts and definitely more on point in regards to upshifts. I am definitely going to contact Weistec tomorrow morning and see if this is normal.

First, we would like to say thank you for your purchase.
The cars electronics run through a series of adaptations. The new MCT transmission has more adaptation parameters than others so this can be normal. It will eventually learn and become perfect.
With that said, the installer can run the electronics through adaptations via the factory Mercedes diagnostic tool, or reset the adaptives. Please feel free to call us and we will be sure to help you out. Thank you!

I would suggest all in theis thread read the multipage thread on Bruce and TTM on the E55 section and make the decision for yourself.
I used to be a TTM fan but I'm afraid i have to agree with - Guilty - on this one.

I would suggest trying the stock airboxes with stock filter setup.
I know my car runs like **** with KN filters. It sputters and bogs, feels like i lost 100hp, similar to your description. Even if I remove the charcoals, I can still feel a couple spots it doesnt like.
your shifts will be weird as well from the ecu telling the tranny the wrobg info all stemming from filters perhaos distorting the maf reading.
