Question on matte vs. gloss wheels at night
For those of you who have experience in these matters:
With respect to wheels as light as gunmetal or charcoal and as dark as black, how would you characterize the difference in appearance at night for matte vs. glossy finish? For example...
Does matte look darker at night than in the daytime, relatively speaking, compared to glossy?
When parked on a well-lit street will reflections off glossy spokes make them pop visually more than matte spokes?
In general, which type of finish would enhance the overall look of a black car at night?
Any and all opinions welcome!

I can't add to this post but I'm interested in knowing the outcome as I've been asking myself the same question when considering what color/finish I want for my black C.

I never been a fan of matte wheels no matter the color. They just have that dirty look. Go glossy, it will makes them more classy.

yea, it's surprising how different matte black looks after you get a coat of brake dust on them.
I think it depends on the shape of the wheel to say gloss black looks better than matte black...
