Wet or dry Carbon Fiber parts? Help me decide...
Looking to get a new spoiler, and front lip, Godhand style. My car is Irridium Silver. I was thinking a dry CF would look great. I will have multispokes on in a few weeks hopefully too. I was also thinking about dry CF mirror covers. What do you guys think? The dry or wet look? And if dry, who sells a OEM style spoiler and Godhand lip???

Anyway thanks for the suggestions. Any body have pics?
I agree with dry looking like a cheap wrap but it does look good on Silver...
Thanks for the link Callmiro....

Dry carbon is definitely unique but too me it looks like vinyl.
Go with the wet look because you won't find all parts in dry and there is no sense in using both on one car.

Thanks Olszowa and Noodle.....
I will be sure to get that tape....nice pics of the matte....those pieces are soooo nice...
Dry looks incredible IMO too. Just very expensive $$$$.... But it looks nice if your car is silver or gray...

Go Glossy, I had the matte Vorsteiner diffuser & asked my bodyshop to clear it.. It looked dull & couldn't see the CF weave very well. After clear coat, it was shiny like new.

i personally like the dry. real race cars use dry it's lighter (ya i know by 1/4 of an oz or something pointless) , theres no clear to fade from uv rays either. I also love matte finishes where as most dont. It'd definately be unique since most wouldnt go dry. I dont think it looks fake in person either, but im a c/f *****. any c/f dry or wet is always better than nonee.

I think Roswell has some good points. The clear coat makes it stand out too...

FYI- most of the affordable "Dry" Carbon FIber parts are regular CF with a Matte clearcoat. I was told if/when it gets a scratch or a chip it is more noticeable-it looks white.

Thanks Roswell....I think I will go wet. Also what akasigfreak and saphgray said...I think with any slight scuff, you wanna go wet so the marks don't show....
I will be looking to get OEM CF spoiler and a Wet front lip
