c63AMG or C63 AMG 507?
I am a new member to the forum.
I am looking to get a C63 AMG but not sure whether to go for the current model or the 507 Edition.
The best lease quote over 2 years I can find is with Niche leasing:
AMG Mercedes C63 AMG Saloon 6.3 V8 MCT7 Speed Shift
Standard Spec no options selected.
Personal contract hire 2 years (10K miles per year)
Road Tax: First year included
Breakdown Cover: First year included
Payment Details:
Initial Payment: £3,527.92
No of Payments: 23
Monthly Payment: £587.98
Balloon Payment: N/A
Excess Pence/Rate: 10p
Price Quoted: Including Vat
AMG Mercedes C63 AMG Saloon 6.3 V8 Edition 507
Standard Spec no options selected.
Personal contract hire 2 years (10K miles per year)
Road Tax: First year included
Breakdown Cover: First year included
Payment Details:
Initial Payment: £4,392.00
No of Payments: 23
Monthly Payment: £610.99
Balloon Payment: N/A
Excess Pence/Rate: 10p
Price Quoted: Including Vat
Good quotes for both cars. I will add in a few options and see what that does to the prices.
Anyone in the UK taken delivery of a 507 yet? First impressions?
Any feedback welcome .

I'm amazed at the closeness between the models.
Differences: the 507 is only 864.08/down more than reg C63
the 507 is only 23.01/monthly more than reg C63
Not really a big difference. A few have taken delivery, take a search or check the threads.
To me it's a no brainer, I would take the 507 last of the naturally aspirated. The 507 is a special car and a nice send off of the last M156 engines. Get the 507!!!

I will spec up some options and see what that does to the prices.
I really want to see one in the flesh but my local dealer doesn't have one yet.

Options for both cars will be about the same...since the 507 is really just an optional package for the C 63. Biggest option to look into is the limited slip dif.

507!!!
And don't worry about the LSD. Go get a Quaife. It'll last much longer and, IMO, far more superior to the MB. I've had both and liked the Quaife a lot more.
But, 507 for sure. You get a very nice steering wheel and shift knob in Alcantara. You get the BS hood. Some nice stitch work. And if you are comparing the two and definitely getting one anyway, the 507 seems to be the one.

You can buy better LSD's on the aftermarket. The M-B LSD is only 30% and Quaife's is much higher. Not sure I'd want to spend that much out of pocket on a leased vehicle though. Only worth it if you know you're going to buy it at the end of the lease, but if you're planning on doing that might as well just buy it now.
