Charcoal filter removal
Just removed my charcoal filters and put in some K&N high flow air filters. I think the car is a tiny bit louder but dont really feel all that much faster. i was wondering if any one else feels any difference and also will the dealer or people get mad if they found i removed the charcoal filter? i still dont know why its there in the first place.
also got eurocharged tune and that made a really really big difference

they are there to collect and store fuel vapors and prevent them from leaving the engine and ruining the planet. Most techs dont even know they exist or there purpose.

I don't believe the gains are enough that you'd physically notice a difference in speed. I did it to my 2013 C63, and it did seem ever so slightly louder. No CEL for me, but I also didn't have a tune.

Keep in mind. If you've got a base C63 without the PP. An increase of 10hp to a 451hp car is only an increase in 2.2%. If you claimed you could feel a change with just that, I'd call BS. Combining it with the tune, though
Enjoy it. Keep us posted on any CEL's.

On my C320 that i gave to my dad, recently it did give him a CEL and I just used some CRC MAF cleaner and cleared the code it it is fine. This was from the K&N factory oiled panel. I then immediatley cleaned the MAFS on my 63.
