3M Protective Spray

Hey guys,
I'm heading out on a 1000 mile round trip traveling thru West Virginia coal country on my way to Ohio. Lots of trucks on I-77 that kick up rocks.

Saw an ad for the 3M spray and wondered about the ease of application/removal and the protection it offers.

Thanks in advance
Bob

I've seen it applied to the front of the hood, but not to other parts of the front. I don't think this would work for the entire front bumper.

yeah im pretty sketched out about my car getting rock chips too because i really want to drive it from SF to LA. the trip is about 400 miles and the 5 is filled with rocks. I bought some clear matte wrap for like 9 bucks and masking tape and plan on taping the hood and front bumper for the trip and taking it off once im in LA. ima give this a try next week and hopefully it works

Thanks for the link. Don't think I'm interested in the 3M.
Looking for a substitute.
The thought of getting a ton of rock chips really doesn't excite me.

Look up plasti-dip, yes its kind of ghetto but its cheap and effective if you layer it on pretty thick
