2013 C63 Estate
Another new AMG Estate
Been using the MB world threads here for research over a number of years having now owned 3 consecutive AMG Estates; first was a 99 C43, then my recently sold 05 C55, and now just purchased a 13 C63 Estate. With the new wagon I’ve finally gotten motivated to start contributing to the board.
Intending to start adding some goodies to it over the next while. Started off with ordering a set of Rennen concave Forged Monolichts from ACG. 19 x 10 and 19 x 8.5. Have gone for the M5-Mesh in a satin gunmetal colour. Still a few weeks from delivery so hangin out for these.
Already fitted integrated radar Escort 9500ci
Windows came factory tinted, but for whatever reason they won’t factory tint the front passenger windows, so had these done.
Still trying to decide on exhaust mods whether I just delete secondary cats and risk compliance, or go down a more costly path? One thing’s for sure, it already sounds great, just needs a little more volume.
Once she’s all run-in I’ll look into a tune, and maybe a LSD.
Also thinking about some H&R springs, but will wait to see how the ride is with the new wheels, and how well the 245/275 tyres fill out the guards.
Then we will have to see what grows from there…
Couple of pic’s. Once the wheels arrive I’ll do a spread of the new wagon.

Hey Olszwal, thanks for the comments. I've always been a wagon enthusiast, down here in New Zealand they really suit the outdoors lifestyle. Believe it or not we have a pretty good network of roads and highways that an AMG can get you to all of but the most remote locations. Its far from motoring nervana but we do have thousands and thousands of Km's of sealed roads to enjoy.
I've seen your comments on the cat delete, and my only concern is certification, but it seems to be the approach that most suits.
What do you reckon of the Rennen M5-mesh rims? I know wheels are always a personal choice, but I was struggling as much with an individual look, as not wanting just another black and white colour combo. Hoping the satin gunmetal works out ok?

You can try deleting the the middle resonator instead - some members have done that.
This way you can keep both cats in place.
I think the spokes on those Rennens are too thick, but it's personal taste. I think Rennen has other more appealing desings.
Have you looked into other brands?
HRE, DPE, ADV.1, or Klassen?

Love your Estate & welcome to the forum.
I prefer your OEM multispokes over the Rennen. Maybe do M10 monolicht, the M5 looks so thick like Matt said.

Thanks for all the replies.
Its always interesting peoples differing opinions on wheels. I did quite a bit of hunting around before deciding on the M5-mesh. Pretty convinced they will look ok, imo the wagon has a fair chunk of panel real-estate that needs dominant wheels to balance. But we'll see. I'll post some pic's as soon as they arrive for comment. Gonna have to wait a bit though as they were only ordered last week.
