C63 in winter?

I wouldn't drive your summer performance tires below 40 F. They are too hard.
NEVER, EVER drive your summer performance tires in snow... it is completely uncontrollable.

Where are you located? How much snow do you get? What is your commute? I have seen people here in NY using a C63 in the winter with good quality snow tires it can be done depending on the snow conditions.

I live in Montreal Quebec.
We have a few snow storm during the winter that can last
I was wandering if the car was driveable or not good at all since it's a heavy sedan.
I had a 135 in the past, ( not X drive ) and it was manageable but difficult in harsh condition
Thanxs again

your heavy *** car will do just fine with a good set of snow tires. It also wouldn't hurt to throw 80lbs or so of weight (sand bags, salt bags, golf clubs whatever) in the trunk to keep some extra weight over the drive tires.

I drive it in the winter with winter tires on the 18 inch oem rims.
I take my wife's car if it snows more than 5 cms in a few hours. Last winter, there weren't that many days where I left the car in the garage. It's just the snowstorms that you need to avoid.

There are a few winter tire threads. I have the PA4s and like them.
If you live up in snow country get a set if dedicated wheels.

I live in Quebec City and I drive my car in whatever winter throws at me.
Be careful on which tires you buy. Performance winter tires are good for wet/dry pavement but aren't so good in deep snow, like the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D. The car will be very stable if you stay in these conditions.
Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 will be better for deep snow, but make the car behave like a '70s Caddy.
As for ESP (and my liking), I prefer to drive in either sport or off the moment snow starts to accumulate.

I was looking at nokia hakkapellita 7 on the original rims 19" since I want to change them next winter but now you discourage me of the caddy driving style.
What tires do you have in Qc city? You had a bad winter last year...

I had the Nokian last winter on 18". Maybe the 19" wouldn't be too bad though. Still planning on having those for this winter.
So far, these tires have been the best that I tried on this car. They have good grip on ice, and they are best in deep snow, two things that I look for winter tires. I care less about cornering capabilities on dry pavement in winter.

imo get a winter tire with compound that is good for the road conditions in your area... you wont need the soft squishy compound from the ws70. then get a solid performance tire in the summer... you will enjoy your car alot more!

Like the OP, I took my 135i with summer run flats through my last winter here in upstate NY. Yea, dumb, but the car made it. It just really comes down to how you drive. That being said, winter tires and responsible driving will go a long way on almost any car.
