LSD oil change

Hi

My new car has the LSD and (in the UK) at 2000 miles you get a complimentary LSD oil change.

Question is, if I wanted to do a track day before that 2000 miles (but after the 1000 miles running in period) - would that be a bad thing? I.e should I have to wait until after 2000 miles/or the LSD oil change before going on track?

I think you're better off changing the fluid first and getting those initial wear particles drained out. JMHO.

its really not going to hurt anything. Id go ahead and wait till after the track day. You'll definately have it broken in nicely afterwards. Most aftermarket limited slip's recommened doing figure 8 donuts to break them in anyways.

It's a break in fluid from the factory. Don't track until changed.

The break in fluid looks like liquid metal when it comes out. After 60k miles regular fluid just looks a little brown, but perfectly clear.

I found what jon did. Silver fluid @ 2k drain. I'd get it out. (Silver as in bearing race , ball powder, and gear teeth polishings ).
