Yes. No. Yes - in a 5 lane industrial park on Sunday.
The people in the vid were with me. They came to vid outside the car. The woman was with him but not videoing. Anyways this was a safe spot on a very wide street in an industrial park in Mexico.

By the way, how was it? Did it truly launch the car or was there some lag? I am no where near breaking in my 507, so I haven't tried it yet. I can recall the launch control on my 911 and it was unbelievable. Cannot wait to give it a go in the 507!!

To me it felt a little mild, but I think it was due to the tire width and/or compound. The traction control felt more to be a performance enhancement rather than a hinderance (like most traction controls) In other words I wouldn't be surprised if the unit takes the difference of the front and rear wheel speeds or something like that to determine the right amount of slippage. It feels dynamic.
I suggest you try it in a straight and wide street in an abandoned area as I have.

Nice for some reason, the AMG launch control doesn't feel as violent as some of the other brands launch control. Maybe just Mercedes trying to preserve the tranny.

When using Race Start don't use the paddles ! It will shift for you at redline perfectly every time all your doing is making yourself slower since your not pushing every gear to the maximum RPM

I admit my paddle shifting was due to the sheer fun of it and not connecting the idea that I was in sport +. Sorry to disappoint
