Help with ordering C63 507

So I have been in contact with a few dealers, most of which are willing to order the car for me, just not at any discount. I understand the limited edition nature of the vehicle but surely there is some negotiating room to be had on an $86k vehicle.

Can someone shed some light on what percentage is reasonable? They are willing to do European delivery and give me 7% off, but not sure with travel and expenses that would work out to any real savings...on my end.

I was shooting for about 5% off MSRP - is this unreasonable? Most dealers look at me like I have 10 heads. And that is fine if that is unreasonable but that is the assumption I was under, reading posts from other individuals, somewhere in that ball park would be a "good deal"

Some dealers offered a $2500 off for USAA...but that is it.

Any dealers out there that peruse the board that could give some insight or some recent experiences with a purchase?

Thanks in advance...

Good luck. Demand has exceeded expectations. There was never a set number to be made, but due to MB moving where the C63 sedans are being built, you cannot order a sedan with the 507 package anymore, only coupes. A lot of people have mentioned delays related to MB being behind on building the engines too (affecting both coupes and sedans).

Hope you're able to find what you're looking for.

USAA qualifies you for FEP incentive program - $2500 in this case from all dealers. My understanding is that MB rebates this to the dealers so there shouldn't be any issue. I got it because my empleyer is also a member. You may be able to get another grand or two out of some dealers.

That being said if you want a 507 I advise finding one with the options you desire and purchasing it (Espically if you want a SEDAN). My gut tells me there are going to be some dissapointed folks who had one on order. There was/is an engine shortage and they are ceasing production to re-tool for the new models.

507 SEDAN
You might not get everything you want or you might get more than you want, but I HIGHLY suggest looking for one already at a dealer or on the boat coming in already.

Those dealers are not going to be able to get you an allocation for a 507 sedan.

In my case, I found mine at a dealer with a few more options than I wanted, but took it anyway. My local dealer was just sitting on the order and eventually was only going to be able to get me a coupe. I ended up getting my 507 with-in 6 weeks.

Good luck and I hope you end up happy!!!

In Australia, the 507 was the "replacement" for the P31 Performance Pack. Does what you say also mean that you cannot buy a P31 Sedan?
Cheers, Pickles.

You guys make it sound like C63 P31 and 507 versions are no longer available in a Sedan form and there are engine shortages so even coupes are hard to get too. Sounds almost like MB Salesmen :P

As far as i Know the 507 is barely out in Australia (a couple of months if that) surely it is not as bad as you say it is? 2 years out from the New C63 and we can't buy anything except for base models?

507 SEDAN
I NEVER stated that you couldn't get a P31 car. The 507's are only being produced at one plant, as the 2 versions of these cars are not being built together. The 507 has some different bits and trim level that is not available on other models, making them more desirable. The P31 has the standard parts and could potentially be ordered or it would seem pretty easy to find a brand new one at a dealer. The fact that the 507 is coming from a different plant in another city, they are the only ones with the parts and abilities to produce an actual 507.

I was suggesting to the OP, that he should really look for a 507 car out on the floor already at a dealer or a car that is allocated and will be coming in shortly. Referring to his inability to get one ordered. I would try to snag some car as soon as possible and go with that. That way he will get a 507. Unfortunately, I do not think the dealers he has been in contact with are going to be able to get him "his" 507.

And to OP, don't feel to terrible bad: I drove out under $82k

I dont think you can get a 2014 with P31. There are some 2013 P31 still available on dealer lots. There are some 2014 507s availalbe too. I agree it is crazy to think that a 2014 model is out of production before 2014 even starts. I'm not an MB salesman, although today I wish I was - work stinks.

2017 C63S Coupe
Just my two cents "again" If you do not already have your name on a PO for a 507 then your only shot is buying one already at a dealer or about to hit there lot. Direct quote from "AMG" - No more car are available to be ordered. Meaning no dealer has an allocation to order/Build one and they cannot get one either. The previous post about the 507 only coming from the Bremen plant are/was correct. Good luck all

Sorry for not following up -

Here is my thread - https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...as-landed.html

So yes I did get one. If you want one you need to take action now. Many even on the showroom floors are spoken for...took me about a week to secure one.

I wound up with $2500 off from USAA and then another $1500, so $4k off of MSRP. Not a lot but better than nothing and the car is a hot commodity and the dealers know it. It basically paid for my taxes...

Good luck!

I believe you can no longer order a 2014 C63 with the 507 option because I had two dealers wanting to do it for me and then both ended up calling back to say that there are no more build spots. That was about two weeks ago. I ended up buying a car that was already on the ground. Not the perfect options, but close enough. Not an authority on the subject, but that's my $0.02.
