507 owner needs help with wheels!!!!
Yo-
Anybody who owns and/or recently took delivery of a 507 with the black wheels looking for some aftermarket wheels???
If so, please sell me and help out a fellow 507 owner. I, by way of an 18 wheeler on I-10, managed to destroy the set on the drivers side. I cannot tell you the disdain I have for 18 wheelers, the truckers who driver them, or the way the "do not look" for other cars/drivers.
He managed to push me into the concrete divider barrier and completely scuffed and ruined my wheels. They are NOT fixable, I don't even curb rash on these would be fixable. Anyway, I love my black 507 wheels and am desperate to find new ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, any fellow 507 want to sell whose looking to change to aftermarket??? It would be good 507 karma. Thanks in advance and I will be neurotically waiting.

Wouldn't insurance cover replacements? I think you will have an extremely hard time finding a set of these for sale, at least in the short term anyways.

You contribute VERY, VERY little. I don't care what your dad has.
Don't you have something to go murder-out. Which, if you want an opinion, is completely wasteful on such a unique car as a C63.
Back to the 507 wheels, any one? Little help!!

Damn sorry about your wheels. They look like the slightest damage would mess them up and be impossible to repair. Totally sucks Hope you chased down the trucker or at least got his info. I'm curious what your dealer said in terms of price and availability. Any other damage to the car?

This is valuable info for all new and upcoming 507 owners. Can you elaborate more on what you are running into when trying to get replacements. I don't want to assume but are the dealer parts guys just saying not available??

No, no other damage to the car other than minor hood damage. The body pieces, quarter panel and hood. Truthfully, the hood wasn't easier to get either. If it wasn't for the BS being released a while ago, there would be no way or at least would probably have been hard to get. I sent some pics to austinauflick, I'll see if I can upload them or maybe he will post for me. You guys have seen plenty of my other pics, carried over from Photobucket, just not sure how to get the other photos over. They were text pics from an unusual phone. Anyway.

And you guys are right, these wheels are some of the hardest I've seen to take care of. The slightest damage render's them damaged. Very damaged.
To my dismay, these wheels are apparently unattainable. Obviously at least right now, but if ever. From my dealer as well as my body-shop, these wheels cannot be had. As you guys have seen/read, with some of these cars barely making production, it's just impossible and MB isn't helping by limiting production to obtain replacements of these wheels. "Fingers crossed" Maybe when production run ends, they will have some extras produced and available. I mean they have to take into consideration that down the road somewhere/sometime, a few of these cars will be involved in some kind of accident or mishap to where an owner would be seeking these wheels. (God I hope so)!!!! But as it stands right now..........ain't no way in hell you will be able to find these wheels through MB.
I cannot tell you how bad it hurts and what a sinking feeling it is.
Guys: PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE take care of your wheels and watch out for other drivers!!! But if anyone is wanting to go aftermarket, think of me.

Thats terrible news man. I still park my car about 1m from the kerb, I'm too scared to get any closer to it...
MB saying they cant get replacement wheels seems unacceptable to me. I just dont think they are trying hard enough.

I agree!! Not trying hard enough. Obvious;y, if they are producing the car, there have bound to be replacement wheels. Just cab't find any. I am dying over here. It was 18 wheelers fault, yet I can't get any. If you ask me, total bulls*it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the damage wasnt that bad but have you considered trading the car for another one. My dealer was pushing the wheel insurance hard I can only imagine how pissed id be if they could not honor the policy. I feel bad for you ... PM me your contact and ill send you a Mexican martini care package.

Anyone know of phone numbers that I can escalate my search too? Been trying through my dealer, my body shop, and a couple of other dealers. I want to take this issue a little higher.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Wow, sorry to hear about the accident Jordan... brand new car & this **** happens already.
Hope the truck driver is taking full responsability for the accident. If so, and the insurance company cannot get you new wheels... they have to buy you aftermarket wheels as replacement. Ask to get a nice set of HRE P101 = Game over!! They are cheaper, lighter, stronger, better looking (although same design) than the 507 wheels.
Good luck bro!
P.S Take it easy on ilumunus, he is young & getting used to this forum.

Try contacting AMG directly.
There is a number somewhere (I'll try looking it up) but I used them once for an issue I had with my car and they definitely were much more attentive and responsive doing everything they could to make it right. They understand more what it means to be an AMG owner so definitely worth a shot contacting them with this issue.

Jordan I hope you get some OEM replacements. Given my history it is only a matter of time till I'm the same boat you are in. We dont buy an AMG Benz to get a car that isn't supported by replacement parts. That said I like some HRE S101. If the OEM isn't available. Not sure how they perform compared to OEM or S101.

Been looking for the number everywhere and I can't seem to find it. Very frustrating!!!

These are probably 2/3pcs wheels for 10k$ at least. If you ask me to choose between that and the OEMs with no hesitation I'd select the S101.
I think the P101 is the monoblock version.
