where to buy - right fog light housing (glass broke)!
I'd like to say it broke due to the glass not able to withstand the sheer force and power of the car, but alas, I can't. I have no clue how it broke. Fog light still works, but I need to buy the glass housing. Any suggestions for OEM. Other than paying $200 at the dealer plus install time (they suggested the housing installs by getting the car off the ground...weird).

You can try looking for a used one, if not dealership! Yes, it is easier to install with the vehicle off the ground, it's do able without removing the front bumper if you have access to a hoist.

I took it out last weekend to get at the bulb to match wattage on the other side (previous owner mod). It is a real pain. The bulb is awkward to get at, but the housing is an outright knuckle-scrapping PITA). You need small hands and a torx wrench set (on one screw head, you have maybe an inch behind it before an obstacle).
When you order from Parts.com, provide your VIN and they will confirm the part (not sure what year you have). For me, the correct foglamp was 2098200856 and is $121.20
If you have time and like to tinker, have at it.

mine broke when I bought my car..it was like $300ish after taxes+labor...the part was like $150-200 alone..so eh...if they are willing to fix it for $200..do it..they know what their doing and they are right about having it off the ground that's what they did with mine put it up on a hoist..I'm surprised they used actual glass and not some clear plastic seeing the fog lights are pretty low to the ground

Ok, thanks! Dealership was quoting $200 for the part, another $180 to install it! It's the passenger side on a 2010. I will give the VIN to parts.com to confirm.
Thanks everyone!

The only two hard parts are manipulating the old hosing out through the tight spaces (and back in with a little more glass) but mostly getting to those pesky torx head screws holding the housing in... need to be very patient and eyeing the head through tight places with a flashlight for each turn.

ok... I got the parts this week and did mine this afternoon... just over an hour. I took pics. If you are doing it yourself, let me know and I'll expedite my DIY.

I just used a floor jack and stand btw...no hoist.

Hi. I have two foglights assemblies and to headlight assembiles for sale. 2010 MY. All are in superb condition. Had my whole front end replaced with brand new OEM due to rock chips. Fog lights have micro-abrasions due to normal road wear. No broken glass, no broken bulbs. $60 each + shipping if you are interested.
