Anyone with LSD and 507?
Hi
Bit of a tough one to describe but I have noticed with my 1400 miles C63 507 coupe what I would describe as scrubbing when taking a tight turn - not necessarily full lock but near to it, into say a side road - not at any real speed, generally at rolling speed.
I was wondering if it was something to do with the LSD that is fitted (which needs it running in oil change soon).
Anyone - bit of a tough one I know but perhaps someone else has experienced this or not with their new car?
Dunc

As said its tough to describe - basically turn in at low speed (car park speed) and you can feel some form of friction/rub/scrabbling, from the tyres - I think if you also had it on yours you would notice it...

I have one on my 507 - at about 300 miles. I have noticed this too under tight turn conditions...pretty normal.
The great thing about an LSD is the traction and "more" fun you can have when you get the tail happy...the downside are some slight annoyances like you speak of, its not super quiet. I feel it kicking in all the time on cold tires/roads. I think the first thing to go wrong on the 507 is going to be the traction control light due to overuse
I would get the oil changed and that might further quiet it down some...they are pretty durable from what I hear, but it should be fine.
