09 C63 Bluetooth/music/phone questions
I have an 09 P30 Nav etc. that is awesome... and I've searched and searched but can't seem to answer all my questions. I will hit the AMG private lounge if this doesn't work, but this site seems really active.
My wifes (other german brand) car pairs easily and loads phone book/music etc. and can be played easily (or scrolled through etc. using the head unit). This has to be possible in the Merc... right? I don't want to load all my contacts one by one! (Iphone 5s me/4s her)
So, if this isn't a factory function, how do I get it to work? I looked at the guys that have the video in motion setup... they seem to have something (does it work well? cost?) Would a command update do the same thing?
Anyone that has used the VIM, what does it cost? Their remote start? reverse camera?

seriously?? That's incredible (and lame)!
How about music? I'm more worried about that than the contacts (I can always tell that sassy little B in my phone to call who I need), but I'm an audiophile and would really like to have bluetooth music.

buy a "tune2air" adapter and plug that mother into your iPod integ cable. it will connect your music, including pandora, to the iPod dash display and steering wheel buttons via Bluetooth. that's what I use.

Thanks for the help. (sorry for so many), but a couple more questions:
Can you pair with both the car (phone) and this device?
Is this the correct device: http://www.viseeo.com/ugC_ShowroomIt...p?hidShowID=15 ??

You can export your contacts from your mac or PC to a memory card and plug them into the slot on the dash, then under contacts you can import them.
I need to double check but you can just get a simple PCMCIA adaptor. And when you done importing the contacts it can double as an extra dedicated MP3 audio drive.
Search here i am sure i wrote up how to do it. If not ping me and i can run your through it.

ps. there is another way that involves pairing your laptop with the command with bluetooth using pairing code (MBUSA) 62872 unit and seeing the card file to the command.

I too gave it a try... sounds like we should have started a group buy and tried to save a couple bucks... oh well.
Excited to get it! Hope it works as advertised.

Just ordered this. Thanks for the input guys. FYI, they charge sales tax no matter what state you're in. They are in WA. I sent them an e-mail requesting a refund for the tax charge. That's definitely illegal!

I installed and used the bluetooth adapter today... A quick follow up.
1.) its great!
2.) I figured it wouldn't do any more... but had hoped. If your car doesn't allow you to browse playlists etc. with the ipod hooked up, you will not be able to with the device. It merely eliminates the wires. Having said that, it is still worth it.
Which brings me to the next question. Does the command update give this capability? (on an 09)

hmm, maybe you need to update your cable. do you have the black tipped one or the white tipped one? the white is the new one. The part number is posted in another thread.

I've got an '08 c63 and just got a viseeo tune2air wma1000 that I cannot get to work using the aux input. Is there a specific cable or different connector to use to make this work? I'm not techno illiterate but this thing has me lost... I'm trying to connect it using a generic aux to 30-pin adapter I got from amazon.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

the iPod cable has to be supplying power to the tune2air for it to work. is there a blue light showing? does your iPhone/iPod charge when plugged directly into the iPod integration cable? if not, you'll prob need a new upgraded one.
just reread your post. sounds like youre using the regular aux cable with a 30pin adapter? that's probably the issue...the aux cable doesn't supply any power.
