new owner - wheel help

hey

new owner of 09 tenorite gray c63 for about 3 weeks now. Was a lurker here to soak up the info before buying and here i am.

In the 3 weeks since i've had it, second cat and reso delete, afe dry and charcoal delete, and just last week did eurocharged tune with handheld. If anyone is on the fence about the tune, GO FOR IT. I went from a ****ty sentra spec v and mazda 3 to c63 and though whoa, then the tune went OMG WHOAAAA lol. Huge difference.

Anyways

My question is now; a local wheel distru is having a sale and I'm looking for an aggressive set and would like to be as flush to the fenders as possible.

I'd like to stay 18s. I will be running H&R coils, and potentially rear camber kit if i have to. Fenders will be rolled.

I'd like to stay 235 up front and move to 265 if not potenntially 275 in the back. What's the most aggressive we can do?

I read
FRONT: x9 + 45
REAR: x10 + 48

I would do an 8.5 front with a 235 and an offset of 38 - 40. Even with a 9 front I would do the same if you want a stretched look.

With a 10 on the rear with a 275 I would do an offset of 52-53.

I run a 19 x 8.5 with a 245 front and an offset of 34 and I rub everywhere and my fenders are rolled and now hammered flat and I still rub. I have to go to a 235 or machine the wheel hubs 3mm or mill down the hub centres 3mm and mill down my spacers 3mm.

On the back I run 19 x 10 with a 275 and an offset of 53 and I don't think I rub except maybe on big dips on the right rear.

My car is lowered 20mm on H&R springs.

hm, i guess for one season i'd stretch with my current tires at 235 and 255 respectively

would you have any close up pictures of your fitment at the fenders?

225/35/19 on 8,5 x 19 ET43 with 10mm spacer so ET33
235/35/19 on 9,5 x 19 ET43

Fenders not rolled. It depends on your drop how wide you can go with the tire setup.

hey matt, thanks, i saw your pic from before and was hoping you'd chime in

i'm looking to go as low as you more or less

i will be rolled and even a slight pull if i have to

i really like your fitment but i would prefer to stay 18s with a slightly meat-ier tire setup so x 8.5 + 33 with 235 wheel calc says i will fit, rims stick out 0.5" from stock

if i go x9.5 + 35 in the rear with the stock 255 it says i will stick out 8mm from your set up. How much more space do you have from your rear rim to the panel? I'm just trying to do it right once!

thanks again and really appreciate this

Here is a couple pics of mine. I have since added a 10mm spacer on the front.

so you're at x 8.5 + 24? with 235 you'd eliminate rubbing? that's a pretty aggressive

i know by 10 we can do +50. I'm going to stay 255 for the next season and adjust from there. Do yo uthink there's a chance we can do a better offset if i stretch 255 on 10

I am 8.5 +44 on the front and with a 10mm spacer +34. I think a 235 on the front will eliminate rubbing. It will be slightly narrower and the diameter will also be less. The 245 is very square on the rim and the 235 will stretch a little bit and match the 275 on the rear better.

I am not sure how much offset you can gain by stretching a 255 on a 10. If I put a straight edge on the lip of my wheel it is exactly even with the ridge line just above the wheel arch.

damn, didn't fall through.

as an FYI to anyone looking to buy 2 piece for our cars;

must be 19s+, as the face will likely be 18in required to clear the 6/4pots
