In need of front wheel hub assembly, bearing, and rotor...

I took my car in for it's 2,000 mile differential oil change, and my service tech informed me that (due to my own stupidity recently...) my front left wheel's rotor and bearing were damaged and deemed unsafe. Unfortunately, the cost for these parts+labor come out to about $3100, so I thought I'd check here on the boards and see what I could find first.

I know there were some posts in the past year of people with totaled C63's that were parting them out. If anyone has any info on where I can located these parts used, or better prices, let me know please. Much appreciation!

No warranty repair?? Short of you going Evil Kineval off a ramp, or you trying to do some botched mod job yourself, that should be covered under warranty...... even if you did drive though a pothole the size of a Mini Cooper...... How in the world did you do that much damage...

*sigh*... Well, I made a REALLY embarrassing rookie mistake when I swapped out my wheels. When I put on the front left wheel, I forgot to tighten the bolts again after I lowered it from the jack. About 10 blocks from my house I suddenly felt the steering wheel start shaking and knew immediately what was going on. I pulled over, and RIGHT as I stopped, the tire popped off. By some stroke of luck the car ended up just resting on top of the upright tire, and nothing actually hit the ground, but it did some damage to the wheel itself (had to order another one), and apparently tweaked the rotor/hub/bearing in some way that the service tech said it wasn't safe to be driving.

You know what they say "bad luck comes in 3s"
I'm not wishing you that but man that is really unlucky. 3rd set of CF10 on their way?
Did this happen when you first put the forgestar on? How many miles have you been driving so far with the "supposedly" damaged rotor/bearing?
Try this guy he was parting out his car recently. I bought his ECU so he is serious.

I have this stuff.

Your p30 composite rotor is a big chunk... I have some of these but wanted to keep for myself. You could install two brand new nonp30 rotors for less money than one composite 2 piece.

I have knuckle and bearing.

Doubt dealer will install used parts for you, insurance risk perhaps.

Pm me if needed.

Labor is adding up lots.
