Launching at strip with MCT??
I'll start off by saying I really enjoy driving our 2012 C63, it's set-up very smart and nice on the interior, runs/sounds/drives awesomely, butt.. I also like the drag-strip, but simply cannot get a good launch with the MCT.
I think a regular torque/stall converter would get the beast off the line cleaner/smoother. It's just a very fine line between spinning and bogging, with the clutch system, and with all the stuff going on at the tree, I'm reluctant to use "race start", maybe that's my issue, but let's just say I've never came close to a sub 2 second 60' on Nitto drag radials.
Also know that the track I like to go to is here in Wyoming and the elevation is above 7000', so there's a serious power deficit, but it still pulls pretty hard and should 60' below 2 seconds, at least occasionally, any ideas, or tricks to get these MCT equipped C63's to launch a little better?
Currently, I just hit the gas, and soon-after, release the brake, and it sort of "pops the clutch" sort of speak. If you stand on the gas, and brake, it only allows the revs to barely break 1000rpm's and it just plain boggs off the line, unlike a torque converter equipped auto. I should try manually shifting it, but don't want to give up time by accidentally short-shifting, or hitting the rev-limiter.

Id say just hammer it off the line, does the rpm jump up and it grabs??
if you stall it, it might cut timing.
at 7000' ft don't expect nothing crazy. Its going to be a slug.
Use M mode, it shifts faster.
Did u get headers?? Once you get those on, it will come alive more.. The stock system is so restrictive.
A race gas tune is good for .1-.2
Remove passanger seat and everything in the trunk.

On stock tires the best I've gotten is a 1.87 though 1.9x is very routine. Finding that fine line and rolling on the throttle just right is tricky. After the headers best I saw on stock tires was a 1.94 traction was just not there but on M/T drag radials I've been 1.78 using race start. Keep in mind though, I'm at sea level.

How about on MT's? Just smash on the way out?

On stock tires my best short times came from leaving at idle and rolling on the throttle, the tricky part was figuring out how fast or slow to roll on it (and actually getting it right). Too slow and it would barely short under 2 seconds, too fast and the clutch would lock quickly and blow the tires away.
On the M/T's I found race start worked very well with consistsnt 1.78-1.80 shorts, smashing the throttle with the ESC off resulted in a broken driveshaft so I wouldn't reccomend it lol

Best way to launch at the track is this:
- 25psi on Stock Conti Tires
- Good solid burnout and roll out of it
- Traction completely off
- Transmission is S+
- Brake hold at 1500rpm
- At 3rd amber, let off the brake and "roll onto" the throttle gradually. << This is the hardest part to learn. Too much throttle and you'll spin. Too little throttle and you'll get 2.0+ 60ft. It takes some time but you'll be able to "feel" when you have a good solid launch.
My best 60ft was 1.93 so far... but I can see getting 1.8x with more seat time. 1.93 was my first time at the track... resulted in a 12.25 @ 115mph

I have the 2012 C63, found the best way to launch my car is with the launch control. Times are very consistent. Get it setup and let off the brake. The car leaves perfectly every time. No spinning or wheel hop. Wont launch it any other way.
---Side note. I had a pass that had horrible wheel hop. Next day i noticed a POP when put in drive and given gas. Did this every time i stopped and drove off. Dealer diagnosed it as a blown diff.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I was experiencing wheel hop on my stock C63. I found that warming up the tires extensively eliminated it.
With all the mods that you have, it might be inevitable under certain conditions.
