This is an amazing build. The level of detail is incredible! You should definitely buy those BS wheels to complete the widebody build.

In my opinion, the OEM black series wheels would look too stock for this car.

I hope you got a good deal on the Velos wheels

I agree with Matt, u wanted a kit that looks different from the BS.. Than going different wheels only makes sense.

I also like the Velos wheels, but I'm bias cuz they look like my HRE P40 a bit.

It was 4k, with shipping $ 4482,….they asked in the beginning $ 5500 without shipping.
I hope I have a good deal...

Sounds like an excellent deal for forged wheels. Cheaper than HRE.

Shipping the wheels to Europe is quite expensive so I'd say it's a great deal considering these are new monoblock forged 20" wheels.

What is the stock size wheels on BS and offset ? Do you need spacers for front and rear ? if doing this conversion ?

20 inch, i think i don't need the spacers but I am not sure, but I have the same wide body kit like a BS, so i think it will be fit.
I don't know the offset, I will ask tomorrow my body shop

I called to my body shop and they could not told me how to measure the offsets
That's really weird…for a professional body shop they should know it

Because I have the same fenders or wide body kit like the original Black Series, the offset should be the same then like a real Black Series.

I don't know what are the standard offset for a real black serie C63, so if this offset is the same then i would be good?

It's not easy to measure the offsets on a car without the right wheels.
But if you have Black Series fenders, then you should do fine with the Velos wheels
When are they coming?

The rear axles in your car are shorter than the Black series axles (E Class axles) so you might need spacers on the rear depending on how flush you want the rear wheels to be with the fenders or in case they rub on the inside.

^ totally right. Remember Keith upgrading to CC brakes had to change its rear axles to the E ones.

Unbelievable build! Great wheel suggestion Matt! This thing is going to be sick! What suspension will you lower the car with?

Yes, u will need the E class rear axle to match the OEM black series offset, or else spacers will be required for flushness.

Bodyshop will not know how to measure offset on custom work. Only a wheel specialist could do the measurement. Search for Craiger, he did the same conversion with the C class axle, he tried to estimate the offset & came pretty close, he ended up using spacers on his Rennen though.

I hope u will lower the car on coilovers after cuz ur car will look like a 4x4 after the kit is installed. Again, look at Craiger pics before & after lowering.

Roswell..
Can you point to the thread of pic before and after with out coil from craig ?

I know we would need spacers but wonder how much ...too much is not good....
He could use H&R spring ? or it has to be coil to look more flush...

He is using coilovers, springs are not low enough.

Give me a sec, I will look for his built thread.
