About to buy a grille for a 2011 wrapped in carbon, but wanna make sure before I buy it...thanks!

It should fit since 08 to 11 MY cars are pre-facelift and share the same grill.

This is only valid if you want to install a facelift grill (1 fin) from a 2012+ MY.

part # 08-11: A204 880 10 83
part # 2012+: A204 880 24 83

Hmmm...the guy I am buying it from says it was installed on his 2011....but it is a single bar??? I'm confused haha....here is a pic of the grill I'm about to buy:

If this grill is really OEM it came from a 2012 MY. Unless the seller is in Europe where MY are different therefore it could come from a 2011 (over there). Ask for a part number.

He is in Canada. So then this wont fit my car I take it?

Maybe some canadian members can shime in. I don't know about the MY situation there.
If the grill is OEM (equivalent to 2012 for US) it will fit your car only if you modify the bottom tabs. You might have some gaps near the headlights too.

This grill is the facelifted grill, so u might have to modify the lower tabs (if the seller didn't do it yet since he installed it on his 2011?).

It looks like the Revozport grill a lot cuz the star is painted black.

Not feeling the amg emblem in the mesh. And the star looks like it has been blacked out with a sharpie marker lol (could be the lighting though)

could be an OEM piece off a 2012 made to fit on a 2011. You will have some gaps on the side though.

Yeah that star seems to have a poor finish. Like it has some chips and someone tried to cover up with a marker
