Brake pads
Hi guys my brake pads are v close to bring replaced... Dealership told me that they are at 80% worn and that a light warning will come up when they are at 85%, is this true? I didn't have much faith in what the service guy was telling me
Thanks!
Ps love how my service b warning has popped up with my tyres needed to be changed just before Xmas!!

Yeah there is a brake pad sensor warning that your getting low on pad wear. If this is your first time changing pads you should only need to do the pad and not the rotor. Also you can get much cheaper than OEM pads and go with something low dust rated with better performance like Porterfield R4S pads witch are awesome pads....just a thought!

You can't go wrong with Porterfields. I have a set of rears and they stop.
On a side note, the brake warning sensor sometimes doesn't work. The best way to be sure is to inspect them up close. I was nearly metal on metal and never got a warning. The only real indication was it started to squeal consistently.

Obsidian Black 2009 C63 w/ P30 Package
This is with my set up I have a 2009 with P30 on it so I have the two piece rotors. But I dont think the pads would factor in price at all with non pp c63s
