I used Sunoco 100 octane. I also used Sunoco 98 100% gasoline. Honestly, with the normal 93 octane EC tune I couldn't tell the difference. If I ran a 100 octane tune though, I would use the 100 octane. They had 110 but it was leaded. The first time I used race gas, it took me a second to figure out why the pump stopped at like 8.7 gallons...

VP 109 is oxygenated and if the tune is for normal 100 octane he will be really lean on it. That being said I love VP 109 & that is what I am tuned for.
I'd say CALL YOUR TUNER and find out what fuel your tune is written for, then run that fuel.

Vp109 is the highest unleaded octane fuel we can purchase in oz. I have tried vp102 mixed with our 98ron (which is us93) and it made no difference at all apart from burnt o2 sensors. Vp109 is slightly more oxygenated how ever should work perfectly fine when mixed with our pump fuel either 50/50 or 60/40. I do agree though if he runs straight 109 better to be tuned for it.

I personally think you shouldn't mix, every time I mixed it I burned my 02's so I started running it straight on a shelf tune and it worked perfect. But you can still pick up more power if it's tuned for race gas.
