Wiper Blades for Winter Slop
My OEMs are worn and aren't cutting the salty mist off the windshield.
Any strong recommendations? ... Or is a wiper a wiper?

New nicer blades will help a bit not sure on best brands. But for snow get a De-icer washer fluid that will help melt snow/ice and than buy this to add to the mix. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0002L...dir=1387670139
It's a booster that adds strength to the washer fluid was developed for the autobahn where drivers hit bugs at high speeds and the reduced visibility is dangerous. Works good

Thx. I'll give it a shot. I drive into the sun in the morning so any improvement is worth it.

The Bosch Ikons are about the best blades you can get for our car.
As for the post about putting in deicing fluid, yes it works, but some fluids (the Rainex brand orange stuff for example that I use), have an odd chemical makeup and trigger the low fluid message, even though it is completely full. something to keep in mind when using it.
